Farnaz Fattahi is a design researcher working at the nexus of art and architecture with research focus on the practice of human-centric design to provoke change.

With over 10 years of practise as a human centric design enthusiast, I hold a demonstrated history of working within a range of international projects across various sectors and scales. Including directing and developing multiple research and fabrication focused art and architectural installation projects. I am passionate in human behaviour focused research as a catalyst and generator of design.

I believe that the built environment as a shared platform encapsulating the human experience has the potential to be inherently a medium to raise awareness and render a response to this immediate concern. My research focus is on practices of temporary spatial interventions in the built environment as an immersive platform to question the status quo, to reimagine alternative futures and provoke action in response to evolving challenges.
